The Large Storage Box is the second unlockable container in ARK: Survival Evolved after the Storage Box. It can store up to 45 different item stacks, regardless of their weight.
The storage container can be placed anywhere (does not require a foundation) and takes up a 1x1x2 space. A roofed building needs to be at least 2 Walls high to fit one. The box (and contents) CAN be destroyed by dinosaurs clipping through walls.
Be sure to finish the wall before you place a Large Storage Box. There can be trouble to placing walls because of the structure hitbox.
Notes[]
- Despite appearing to be made of wood, the Large Storage Box takes damage as if it were thatch.
- The Large Storage Box is treated as a thatch structure and can be damaged by anything except non-explosive ranged attacks.
