The GPS is a navigation device that calculates your precise location on the island, showing you your current Latitude and Longitude. It also works as a compass showing the direction relative to the geographic cardinal directions you're facing at the moment (North, South, East, West).
Coloring the GPS a dark color can obscure the labels telling Latitude from Longitude, so it isn't recommended to dye the GPS at all.
A GPS can help track down your home and helps you find your way to a taming spot in both air land and sea.
