AmeriCorps is committed to making its information accessible to individuals with disabilities by meeting or exceeding the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. § 794 d).
Under Section 508, federal agencies must give individuals with disabilities who seek services or information access to, and use of, information and data comparable to what is available to members of the public who do not have disabilities, unless an undue burden would be imposed upon the agency. AmeriCorps’ ongoing efforts help ensure conformity to Section 508 and the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0, level AA criteria. We continually modify our websites to ensure the information, features and content are accessible to persons with disabilities.

Facilities
The Architectural Barriers Act requires access to facilities that are designed, built, altered, or leased with Federal funds. The Access Board is the federal agency responsible for enforcing the ABA. The Access Board's accessibility standards are available on the US Access Board website.
