社内システムとの関わりも増えてきており、同時に他社の社内システムの状況なども耳に入ってくるのですが、プロフィットセンターではないせいか、結構、同業はどの会社もひどい状況のようですね。まともにLDAP,ActiveDirectoryも使っていなかったり※、Windowsクライアントを泥臭くインストールしたり、たくさんの社内サブシステムのID,パスワードがあったり。
※いえ、弊社はさすがに使ってますが。
さて、今回のレポートは前回の研究課題レポートで受賞にはいたらなかったものの、実行委員長のTossyのネタを公開しようと思います。そういえば、このブログのエントリ公開は、第７回研究課題レポートの締切り日ですね。どうりで月末にしては飲み会断っている人が多いと思いました。
これらの優秀賞も、いずれ公開されると思いますので、お楽しみに。

As my involvement with CyberAgent's internal IT systems increases, I have started hearing quite a bit about the state of IT systems at other companies. This may be because internal IT systems are viewed as being cost centres, but there seems to be a large number of companies who don't make proper use of LDAP or ActiveDirectory*, don't have proper policies regarding Windows client installs, and have a myriad of different passwords and usernames.
*For those who were wondering, CyberAgent makes proper use of them.
In order to become a company that is representative of the 21st century, change is required to come from inside. To this end, CyberAgent. Inc. is rapidly moving to switch development focus to smartphone development. Creating regional development offices is just one step towards this. Those of you who
read the newspapers might also have noticed that CyberAgent, Inc., aims to release 100 smartphone application by the end of this year. This brings us to this weeks report. This weeks report is by Tossy. Tossy is also the chairman for CyberAgent's research report competition, so the report should be a pretty interesting read. Speaking of the research report competition, today is also the deadline for submissions for the 7th IT research report competition, which is probably why a lot of people where declining invitations to go drinking recently. The best reports from this competition will also be made available publically, so keep
an eye out for them!
