Contest / Loneliness at Christmas

Hi Folks, It's been a long time since I put in a contest, so this one preferably ends with rhymes, about being lonely at Christmas, from experience or not it doesn't matter please state the word count. No more than 500 words. Four-line stanzas, or short story. Big points make it easy to read, I'm getting old now, my attention span is almost nonexistent, and my eyesight is fading. Happy writing, Happy New Year to one and all my friends. Any veering off the subject I will disqualify.
