Trivia[]
- This is the first time since Champions 2 that the main performance shows were held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
- All audience members were required to show proof of full vaccination to enter the venue.
- Due to the volume of acts put through to the live shows, there was no Judges' Choice vote.
- In every Semifinals results episode, the act that was called second into the top 3 finished in 3rd place.
- The 4th semifinal was the only one where the act that performed last did not advance to the final (in this instance, Lily Meola finished 3rd despite performing last).
- NBC originally listed the name of this round as the “Qualifiers” but later changed it however some NBC schedules and Social Media profiles still acknowledge it as the Qualifiers. The official YouTube channel refers to the round as "Semifinals". Additionally, those acts from this season who failed to reach the Finals and later participated on All-Stars were given the designation "Semifinalist" in their on-screen bio prior to their Preliminary round performances.
- This season's Semifinal format is similar to that of the 11th series of Britain's Got Talent, with only the public vote deciding who would advance.
