What does it mean to steward Asian American literature organizationally, collectively, and individually? The annual Asian American Caucus is a town hall-style community space. Come meet other Asian American writers and discuss opportunities and resources available to support you, as well as create a dialogue on your artistic and community needs. Organized by Kundiman, Asian American Writers’ Workshop, Kaya Press, Hyphen Magazine, Kearny Street Workshop, the Asian American Literary Review, and Smithsonian’s APAC. This meeting will be accessible to in-person and virtual attendees.
The fifth annual Asian American Caucus will take place on Friday, March 10th, 2023 from 6:30pm-7:45pm PT at the Seattle Convention Center Summit Building in room 437 as part of the 2023 Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) Conference. Learn more about the full range of AWP caucuses here.
Following the caucus will be an informal gathering where attendees can connect and enjoy each other’s company. More info to come.
This page serves as an archive of past, present, and future gatherings and is a resource to be used by our community beyond the caucus.
