Another great James Patterson novel and as with most all his novels couldn't put it down.

I found this to be a very interesting read, maddening at times, but very good.

Book #2 featuring Elena Estes. A good read, but an absolute have-to-read? I don't think so. I found I was just plodding along in the beginning and end. The middle was entertaining, but that was about it. I know I'll continue with this series, only because that is how I am, but I'll be less than excited about doing so!

Four To Score ~ Janet Evanovich

Stephanie Plum's charge is on the run. As a bounty hunter she is responsible for her charge and making sure she attends court. As things start to go wrong Stephanie becomes aware that the girl is hiding a treasure and that people will kill to get it.

Once again, another laugh out loud book about the escapades of Stephanie Plum. I'm looking forward to book #5 to see what kind of trouble Stephanie will get in with Morelli, as well as the type of case she'll be working.

Chai Tea Latte Grande and sooo much more

As what I see becoming a very expensive habit and one that needs to be curtailed quickly, is an addiction to Starbucks Chai Tea Latte. Not only is this making a dent in my pocketbook, but also a lump on my rear end. It's not an all bad thing, this Starbucks addiction, I'm getting in some good reading too. Starbucks has The Way I See It messages on their beveridge cups. Today's cup, message #232, is awesome and more than true for so many people, myself included.

Up Up and Away

My princess climbed the rock. Here is a pic of Princess on Sunday climbing with her Uncle James and his girlfriend, Anita. I was the amazed bystander, but am going to give it a whirl next time.

I'm so impressed with Princess in her first endeavor with rock climbing. She is very much a princess kind of girl, not much of an outdoors type at all. It was a very proud moment to watch her harness up and start off to challenge the rock. She was able to surpass the climbing height of both James and Anita. I loved watching her think through the transitions and her beautiful little hands gliding over the rock in an effort to find a place to get another good grip. I'm not the most objective, I know, but she really looked like a natural.

She is looking forward to next time when James and Anita are in town so she can have another go at climbing. Who would have ever thought I'd see the day my little baby was climbing a rock. Proud silent tears rolled down my cheeks as I watched her at times. Shhhh, she doesn't know that part.

I just bought this disc and I now ask myself: "What took so long?" This disc is amazing. I was driving along, listening away and this song literally jumped out at me. I love it. Chris Daughtry has the most amazing edgy voice. I've found my 'new favorite' rocker, for now, anyway!

Jonathan Kellerman ~ Blood Test

Dr. Alexander Davenport, a child psychologist in Los Angeles, is called in to evaluate the case of a leukemia patient whose parents want to discontinue chemotherapy. When the boy disappears from the hospital and his parents are found dead, the only leads are the boy's sensual older sister and a holistic-meditative cult called The Touch. Davenport's search for the child takes him to a small town near the Mexican border where he finally unearths the dark secrets kept by the boy's family and the townspeople. He also uncovers drugs and group sex in the commune and survives a few harrowing attempts on his life.

This was a good novel, but touched on incest. I didn't see this developing! Freaked me out big time! I'm not 100% on Jonathan Kellerman's style so I'll give it some time before I follow up with the 3rd novel in this series.
