Been awhile and donations
Sat, 30 July 2011 11:43:00 GMT
Since I last updated the news IE9, Firefox 5] and Chrome 12 have all been released. I have also had an email asking me to mention BrandThunder and ThunderThemes which let you create and share your own themes for IE, Firefox and Chrome.
As for the website I have added in the ability to create a suggestion url for generated plugins (registered users only), and I will look at doing the same for uploaded plugins. I am also on the hunt for donations as the site is not free to maintain but is free to use and it is my intention to try to keep it advertising free. If you want you can donate through PayPal or use one of my custom plugins linked to an affiliate account. More information on donations here. Finally thanks to everyone who continues to use the site.

Changed from MSSQL to MySQL
Tue, 01 September 2009 17:56:00 GMT
I have changed the database server from Microsoft SQL Server to MySQL because it is easier to do remote backups via MySQL. I think I've ironed out any problems in the coding but if you find any then let me know.
SQL Injection Attack
Wed, 15 July 2009 17:42:00 GMT
Unfortunately my database has been hit by another SQL injection attack which managed to severly corrupt my database. I have restored a backup but some plugins may be missing and will need to be recreated, also if you find out you can no longer login then you may need to sign up again and recreate any plugins you had. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and I am taking steps to protect the database against future attacks.
Wolfram Alpha Search Engine Live
Wed, 20 May 2009 10:01:00 GMT
A bit late with the news but the new computational search engine Wolfram Alpha is now live. On a first quick go it is quite impressive and could be quite useful when you want a quick answer to a direct question, there is already a searchplugin for it on searchplugins.net as well.
