Outdoor Furniture Plans
Any of the above furniture can be used inside or outside the home. When used for outdoors it is best to consider where they will be located to help with the choice of material. If the furniture will be un covered it is best to build the project out of redwood or cedar materials. For example, we did design and build an outdoor sofa out of plywood, but ended up keeping it under a covered patio to keep the water from damaging the plywood.

Materials
Most of the material used in these plans are dimensional lumber that is mostly available at your local hardware stores.
Depending on where your protect will live in your home would help you decide on the type of wood you will use. Pine wood can mostly be used inside, but I would recommend using cedar or redwood for your outdoor projects. The redwood and cedar will hold up to the elements better and are naturally rot resistant.
