Following claims from gaming insider NateDrake that Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator will both receive PS5 versions this year, it appears the floodgates have opened as other games media members share what their sources have told them concerning Microsoft's third-party strategy. Most notably, Jez Cordon from Windows Central corroborates NateDrake's claims and throws more games into the mix.
According to Cordon, on top of Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator, the company will also bring Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Senua's Saga: Hellbade 2, and Age of Mythology to PS5.
Microsoft has already announced DOOM: The Dark Ages and The Outer Worlds 2 for the Sony system, meaning with the potential of all these extra ports, the company could become one of the biggest and most frequent publishers on PS5. It's already been claimed recently that Microsoft sees making Hellblade II an exclusive as a mistake, so this is something it's reportedly looking to rectify.
