Dolls are made with 100% cotton fabrics, and the best quality that money can buy. Each doll is an original design. They vary from primitive to folk art, and steampunk to gothic. They range from 6" tall to 30" tall, and are for collecting and displaying, and not meant for children's play, as they have small parts. Each piece of art comes signed and dated by Robin Seeber.
Primitive simply means "simple". OTBP primitives are anything but simple, as no detail is forgotten. The primitive style doll brings a feeling of warmth and coziness into your decor, with memories of days gone by.
Ornaments and pins are favorites of collectors. They are keepsakes, great gifts, grab bag items, and primitive folk art has been loved for centuries.
Along with my newest endeavor, Blackened Beeswax Ornaments!
Robin was born with a whimsical imagination, and spent much of her childhood building fairylands in the woods, rock shelters in creeks for the frogs and turtles, and anything she could get her hands on to make something crafty.
She has had several businesses over the years;
Sentimental Silks~ a wedding floral business,
Country Peddlers where her and a friend presented beautiful unique and original art pieces in private homes. The art was created by 7 different artisan friends, including herself.
The Primitive Chandler~ pure beeswax candles, we still make them for home use, but do not sell them any longer.
After 21yrs as an RN, she took the plunge to retire from nursing and jump headfirst into designing dolls, pins, ornaments and much more. She became a licensed folk art designer with a popular wholesale company, Bethany Lowe Designs, Inc., and you can find her work in fine gift shops across the globe. A couple of years ago, Robin was discovered by Wing Tai Trading Co., and designs her primitive style fabric dolls for reproduction for them.
Outside the Box Primitives is Robin’s doll company where she creates fabric originals, full time out of her home.
Robin’s work has been published in many popular craft and doll magazines, and newspapers. Her cloth dolls are still be created and are available as one-of-a-kind from her website.

OTBP art/dolls/ornaments/pins etc are NOT toys. They are collectibles, not suitable for young children as they all contain small parts. They are for your enjoyment and adding accents to your decor.
Please do not allow children to play with items.
Thank you!
