, a special Create-a-thon brought 13 up-and-coming filmmakers together to help bring to life some of the great things about working at Mother.

We're proud to announce the promotions of Anna Murray and Emma Davenport and Martin Rose to production and creative leadership roles.

Anna and Emma, the current Heads of Production, to step up into the new roles of Chief Production Officers. The duo have worked together for twelve years at Mother.

Martin is promoted from Creative Director to Executive Creative Director. He built his creative journey at Mother, starting at the agency in New York in 2012 before relocating to London 11 years ago.

As J&auml;germeister&rsquo;s first global creative agency of record, our teams in London and Berlin will be working to build the J&auml;germeister brand worldwide. As our first 

 client, we&rsquo;ll donate our first-year profits from working together to inspire the next generation with creativity.

We&rsquo;ve welcomed J&auml;germeister to the Mother family

After being diagnosed with cerebral palsy after a lack of oxygen at birth, years later 27 year old Lewis Fisher was also told he would never take his own selfie.

It&rsquo;s something he took upon himself to change and worked with photographer and friend Richard Ansett to do so.

Using a speech generator the duo have been telling us how this project came about, what a selfie means to Lewis and about an upcoming exhibition they have been working on together.

The exhibition &ldquo;Ukrainian Dream&rdquo; introduced visitors to the dream that all Ukrainians share in light of current events. The collection of chosen artworks comes from the &ldquo;naive&rdquo; style of modern Ukrainian art that features the stylistics of primitivism, which is most apparent in children&rsquo;s drawings, folk art, primitive art, and Art Brut.

This exhibition presented 20 works of Ukrainian contemporary art from 13 artists from different regions of Ukraine.

Mother has a long history of expressing our views on world issues. From the gay Russian dolls we sent to the Kremlin and our Blood is Blood t-shirts &ndash; which were both designed to protest for gay rights &ndash; to giant inflatable boobs put on buildings in London to point out the ridiculousness of women being shamed for breast feeding in public.

 &ndash; where we create goods that do good. Ideas-turned-products that can make real tangible change to big world issues. New products will be dropping regularly, so follow us

We always used to say we came to work to &ldquo;make our mother&rsquo;s proud&rdquo;, but this evolution to &ldquo;Make Our Children Proud&rdquo; even being a one word change, has changed everything. We sat down with Adage to tell them all about it, read the full story 

We&rsquo;ll invest the first year profits from new retained clients who appoint Mother without a full creative pitch, into the future of creativity. Imagine if all agencies did this &ndash; we&rsquo;d collectively redirect millions and millions of pounds from processes that don&rsquo;t get to a better answer and we&rsquo;d be able to use that money to reach out to encourage a more diverse and ultimately a more representative group of brilliant young creative people to choose to dedicate their careers to making brand more relevant and successful.

Make Our Children Proud

We hosted the Unsigned Union Film Class of 2022, showcasing unrepresented filmmakers to commissioners and creatives.

Unsigned Union exists to celebrate and support underrepresented creators and emerging artists &ndash; from photographers and directors through to animators and illustrators. It offers practical support with access to and opportunities within the advertising world.
