This film roll is from 2018. Images are from Kauai Island, some are from The Big Island on Hawaii. I visit Hawaii regularly, most of the time Kauai. My last visit to Hawaii was in 2023. My favorite places are Waimeo Canyon, Hannalei beach, Napali Coast, Polihale beach on Kauai Island.

I visited because my sister-in-law lives there with her family, so basically for family reunion and to enjoy the fresh air and endless nature. Every time the visits are different as nature changes so quickly. The nature in Kauai Island is an inspiration to me, the pure endless beaches, great hiking with stunning landscapes.

The nature in Kauai is so pure and calming. Kauai also has many climates. It's easy to connect with nature and feel the salt in my hair. I also love to put my feet in the sand.

Kauai Island is my personal favorite island in the entire world. When visiting Kauai, I always feel inspired by nature. Endless pristine beaches, lovely sunsets, stunning views, so lush and green. Breathing in the fresh air. The different lighting in Hawaii gives the opportunity to shoot amazing colors any time of the day.

Using the Lomography Color Negative 400 ISO 35 mm, it gives even more outstanding colors, especially blue. All those images are shot with a Ricoh GR21 camera, as I use this camera on most of my trips.

I would recommend to use ISO 400. It always has a good outcome with bright and vibrant colors. The endless skies, beaches and sunsets. When travelling through airports, I give my film rolls to the security, to protect from any damage from radiation.
