Christmas 2019

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! We camped in Savannah and Hilton Head over Thanksgiving and enjoyed visiting my family there. Our Christmas was simple and low key this year.  Brett was actually home for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for the first time in over ten  years. We are grateful for our health and blessings this year!

We cut our Leland Cypress from our local friend Mr. Jim at Mountain Meadows Farm this year! It was just beautiful.

Gang's all here!

SANTA CAME!!!
Cowbean had a very merry Christmas!

Our talented friend Bell Price snapped this precious Christmas photo.
Christmas cousins!

Okra. Magazine Visits Stillwater Farm!

We have another exciting feature from this Fall to share with you! The folks at okra. reached out awhile back and asked if they could come visit the farm and chat. I absolutely LOVE their magazine. They fully embody their tagline #realsouthernculture.. Come as you are, if you will. Our shoot wasn’t overly styled and our conversation was casual and authentic. If you’re a Sean Of The South fan I think you’ll love their content as much as I do! This was a fun one for sure!

Here are some snapshots from the article. I'll add an online link if they put the story on their website!

Our Shelby Living Feature!

This cover was an awesome surprise! We enjoyed chatting with the folks over at Shelby Living this Fall about our never ending projects. 😂🏡  Lots of fun historic articles and features in this issue, too! Local friends be sure to pick up a copy!

I'll share some magazine photos here because there were more included in the print version. You can read the online article here!

Cowbean is headed to the World Finals! Lucky chaps handmade by dad are sure to give him the edge he needs to bring home the golden buckle!
