Tohoku University's "International Collaboration between Japanese, British, and American Universities to Create Resilient Societies" was selected for the Inter-University Exchange Project in AY 2022. This project, conducted by Tohoku University and its strategic partner universities in the UK/US, aims to foster global leaders who will contribute to the creation and international growth of future societies that are resilient and fulfilling.

The Global Learning Center plans and conducts programs and activities related to studying abroad, language learning, international exchange, and international students. It also holds events such as seminars, lectures, and official ceremonies.

Today we live in a globalized society, and exchange across national borders is crucial.This center plays a pivotal role in the establishment and execution of Tohoku University's education internationalization strategy, and in the promotion of international exchange activities. By actively recruiting excellent international students, developing/improving education/support programs, developing/executing a variety of outgoing overseas programs, and actively promoting educational internationalization, the center contributes greatly to the fostering of global human resources who possess an international outlook and will fill leadership positions.
