Has anyone made a camera obscura. I made photomobile, the mobile darkroom I work on into one by fitting a cheap acryllic lens from an opticians into the wall. The image is 6'x4' and some of the images made from it are very pleasing.

Hi,
I build a camera obscura for drawing using a kit. This is a kind of "Photography" before inventing of films. Some of these were pinholes, but from the beginning of eighteenth century or even earlyer they used lenses.
My lense is a simple meniscus with ca. 27 cm focus, and it includes a mirror.
The pictures are mirrowed, but I used Photoshop Elements to reverse this.
