The December 15 release of The Last Jedi not boozy enough for you? You're in luck: Star Wars is getting a pop-up bar. But don't expect a spirited cantina where travelers guzzle libations, swap deviant stories, and only occasionally shoot each other. Almost entirely black and bathed in the menacing glow of red neon, this pop-up is a tribute to the Dark Side. Fittingly, it is called the Dark Side Bar. It seems like the kind of place you wouldn't dare raise your voice too high while inside for fear of angering...something. Cheery!

Not that it's all doom and gloom. The Dark Side Bar will offer themed DJ nights, "alien speed dating" (good luck), and an intergalactic burlesque show, according to Food & Wine. There are also custom cocktails—including Red Force, Blue Force, the Imperial, the Dark Side, the Galaxy, and the Mindtrick—that look intensely futuristic, and food options with similarly on-the-nose names.

The Dark Side Bar will have three locations: in New York, Washington, D.C., and Hollywood. Spaces can be reserved ahead of time for $33 (includes two custom cocktails), and walk-ins are allowed. All three locations will close up shop after the New Year. Costumes are not required, but we recommend wearing one—you know, to fully embrace the Dark Side and all that.
