KitchenAid just announced huge news: The iconic brand's latest addition to the KitchenAid Design Series is called the Evergreen stand mixer, and it comes with a wooden bowl.
The Evergreen features a deep matte green finish and a glossy walnut wood bowl that stands out from the usual stainless steel. Adding to its charm are the brass-plated hub covers adorned with a delicate leaf design, giving the mixer a refreshing, nature-inspired look that will pop in any kitchen.
“Evergreen marks a first for the brand by introducing outdoor elements to the iconic stand mixer like never before,” Chad Ries, global brand director for KitchenAid small appliances, said in a statement. “KitchenAid appliances are designed to engage all of your senses and rekindle the excitement, connection, and inspiration found all around us. Evergreen was inspired by the natural elements that make us feel connected to the outdoors.”
KitchenAid has ensured the unique wood bowl is durable and easy to maintain. A bit of regular seasoning with food-safe wood conditioners will keep it looking great for years to come.
Function-wise, the Evergreen doesn’t skimp. It features a tilt-head design and 10 speeds to handle any recipe you throw at it, from mixing cookie dough to kneading bread. Plus, it comes with essential attachments like a stainless steel flat beater, dough hook, and wire whip. For anyone who wants to expand their baking repertoire, there are over 10 additional attachments available separately.

Over on Instagram, customers were raving about the Evergreen, and even Jennifer Garner chimed in with smiley face emojis. The two biggest gripes so far? A few people would love the wood bowl to be sold separately, and others are begging KitchenAid to make the bowl fit the larger lift mixers.
With a price tag of $699.99, the Evergreen mixer is available now on KitchenAid’s website.
