Chilly fall nights were made for time spent by the fire pit, and these pyro-pumpkins are here to bring a little Halloween flair to your backyard bonfire.
Fire pit skulls took over in popularity a few years ago, but if you're looking for something a little less creepy, opt for these ghoulish gourds instead. The stoneware jack-0-lanterns are made to withstand extreme heat and can be placed directly in your fire pit, whether you use old-fashioned wood, lava rocks, or fire glass. The fire will burn around and even inside the pumpkins, turning them a ghastly gray or black over time, which just adds to the spook factor!
"Oh these are gonna be fun," one reviewer said. "I bought two sets, they are bigger than I thought so really I only need 2 in my fire pit perhaps 3. Good quality, package very well. Great idea!! I can't wait for fall and Halloween!"
As the review mentioned, the pumpkins are slightly larger than they seem in the pictures, making them even more of a deal. Each one weighs around three pounds with over a six-inch diameter. So, depending on the size of your fire pit and the spook-level you're going for, you might be just fine with a single set of two!
And these pumpkins definitely won't break the bank. Coming in a set of two, the jack-o-lanterns originally retail for $69.50, but are currently part of a pre-Halloween sale at Grandin Road and are marked down to $48.65, making them under $25 a piece. Considering a single fire pit skull can run you even more than that, we'd say that's a steal. Grandin Road hasn't announced how long they'll be running their pre-Halloween sale, so we'd suggest snatching them up while they're still a deal.
