Dirty shoes, sticky fingers, blazing sun, slobbery dogs—over the years, these furniture villains work together to make even the most beautiful leather look drab and worn-out. But the superpowers of Furniture Clinic's Leather Complete Restoration Kit can turn back time and revitalize your living room. This trio of DIY products removes stains, restores your furniture's original color, and then conditions it and protects it against future damage. (Watch the kit in action in the before-and-after slider below.)

You'll start with the Leather Cleaner, which does exactly what its name promises, quickly and effectively. Dispense some cleaner onto the sponge that comes with the kit, squeeze the sponge to work the product into a foam, and rub it into the leather in a circular motion. There's no need for major elbow grease here—the cleaner readily lifts even dirt that's worked into the grain of the leather. Wipe off any excess foam with a clean cloth (also included in the kit), and admire the result—and that's just from step 1.

After all the grime is gone, you'll apply the Leather Recoloring Balm, which is where the real magic happens: Select from among the 16 available shades to match your material's color, then sponge on the balm in a circular motion (again, you don't need to scrub). As the balm sinks in, like-new leather emerges. Buff the furniture with a clean cloth to remove any excess product. Once buffed, your restored item will be colorfast; the balm won't bleed onto clothing or anything else.

Finish with the Leather Protection Cream, which creates an invisible barrier that fends off stains and liquids—even oil, coffee, and red wine. (What's more, it will restore that delicious new-leather smell.) Apply it with a soft cloth, using the cream sparingly to match the leather's original sheen or liberally to achieve more shine. Then buff with a second clean cloth.

Once you've rescued your scratched-up sofa or sun-faded armchair, head to your closet, because the Leather Complete Restoration Kit also works on shoes and handbags. And car interiors, for that matter. In fact, for anything that's made of leather and has been "overloved," this kit is the fix.
