Jump scares and body horror are all well and good for an October fright, but the films that really keep us up at night are psychological horror films. Modern head-twisters like Get Out and Black Swan sit uncomfortably alongside The Shining and Rosemary's Baby. Tune in and stay awake. With Deadpool & Wolverine clobbering the box office on its opening weekend, does this mean that Comic Book Movies are back? The past few years have been sparse to say the least, there are still plenty of terrific films based on comics, like CGI brainbusters Avengers: Endgame and The Dark Knight, but also introspective films based on graphic novels such as Persepolis and When the Wind Blows. On a Mission from God: The Definitive Story of The Blues Brothers

In Daniel De Visé's in-depth new book The Blues Brothers - An Epic Friendship, the Rise of Improv, and the Making of an American Film Classic, the author goes to phenomenal lengths to detail not just the making of the film, but all the blues that's fit to print.
