"Christmas Cards"
with
Amy Voorthuis

 Hi lovely creative peeps,
Hope you are having a wonderful & creative day, for today I have two Christmas cards to share with you and I used some of the amazing chipboard pieces 2Crafty Chipboard offers.
 Enjoy this post.....

Card 1: December 2024

Amazing 2Crafty Chipboard used:
 Berry Vine Set
Card Xmas Baubles
Fine Word Set ~ Months
2024's

I just love making cards that are non traditional in colors so that is what I did here. For this card I altered the "Berry Vine Set" with spray paint without adding gesso first and then I added some lighter green acrylic paint with a sponge.

On the "Card Xmas Baubles" I added some black embossing powder on the hanging part but you can't see that anymore because I added flowers on top of that. But on the baubles I added some Christmas balls from the collage ephemera book {Christmas Fairies}

That cute little fairy is also from that book, the word december & 2024 are treated with embossing powders both two layers and one n a two tone style.

Card 2: Christmas Memories

Amazing 2Crafty Chipboard used:
Dangling Merry Christmas Sign
Cherished Family Memories
Circle Dot Frames
Merry Christma Fine Card Pack

The "Circle Dot Frame" is treated with two layers of embossing powder in a green color.
For this card I did use the traditional colors which is also fun to do....

For the dangling part from the "Merry Christmas Sign" I treated that one with a ink pad after I first added two layers of white gesso. I also did that with the word Christmas. The word memories is cut apart from the phrase "cherished family memories" and is treated with green metallique wax.

Hope you all enjoyed my post thank you so much for stopping by, I will be back with another project hope to see you back then....

Beautiful Vibes By Charmane Sharp

We ate at this lovely courtyard restaurant on Naxos Island that had these
lampshades hanging above us. I thought they were a beautiful addition to
the atmosphere of this relaxing restaurant which served the most delicious
food, We enjoyed a few meals here as everything was made with love.

2Crafty Chipboard used...

Chloe's Vines
Lacey Border set 1
Mini Title Stick set 3
Mini Title Stick set 4
Mini Scissor set

The ornate Mini Scissors look gorgeous with White Gold wax rubbed over
them sitting on the edge of my flowers. Chloe's Vine piece adds a pop of
colour extending from the cluster with Indian Pink wax coating it.

I decided to cut two of the Mini Title Sticks up to make a unique title.
Rubbing Sweet Rose wax over the top of the words leaves the Gesso
to highlight the inside of the letters. They then stand out because they
were place on top of another piece of Chloe's Vine in Indian Pink.

The Lacey Border adds some interest on the side of my layout and was
rubbed with Vintage Gold wax and a little White Gold wax was rubbed
over the top randomly.

This layout was about tearing my papers as I hadn't done that in a little while.
Lots of fussy cutting to create layers and die cuts added. These create a
softness against the chipboard pieces with their bolder colour transformation.

Until next time...

"Christmas Moments to REMEMBER"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

Let me introduce you to my first inspiration from this month of November.
A Christmas-themed page, with a family photo taken last year.

I love all the new products offered by 2Crafty, a wide range to embellish each of your creations.

"Christmas Moments to REMEMBER"

The chipboard used:

- Christmas Moments to REMENBER
- Dotty Star Frames
- Curly Christmas Light Borders
- Poinsettia Set

As usual, I apply a coat of white gesso to each chipbopard.
For the "Dotty Star Frames" and "Curly Christmas Light Borders" particleboard, I use a metallic wax in the color "Celestial" which I apply delicately with my fingers.
I like this new frame for its finesse and originality.
I put in place this beautiful bright border that I fix only at both ends.

For this magnificent "Poinsettia" I used Distress Oxide inks "candide apple" "mode lawn"
and "peeled paint". To decorate I add a little white embossing powder.

I also used wax for the title, but thought it was too pale.
I also add effects using white embossing powder.
Getting a rendering as precise as the real thing is difficult, but in the end, it comes out very well.

I hope you are inspired to start your Christmas decorations.
Thank you very much for your visit!

Totally Awesome - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi!
I am back today to share a layout I created using a school photo of our oldest many years ago.

2Crafty Products used;

Circle Stack
1 inch hexagon
Totally Awesome
Chicken Wire Panel

I inked the chicken wire panel and the title piece in the same burnt orange color and then
heat embossed the title.

Chicken Wire piece is great to stack in between layers, adds a bit of contrast without being too cumbersome on the layout.

I created clusters using the hexagons and circles that I simply inked to coordinate with the paper,
love the effect of this combinations, great for masculine pages.

Such a fun paper range for my photos, and love the versatility of the chipboard which allowed me
to add small clusters so not to take away from the scene on the paper but still allow for some
contrast and texture that the chipboard brought to the layout.

Thanks for stopping by

Floral Cards
with Lisa Amiet

Hello all! It's Lisa here today to share some
floral themed cards with you.

2Crafty Products used:

For my first card, I used one of the 'Frame Doilies',
that I have embossed in a bright white to stand out against the dark background.

I also used some of the 'Grid Bits',
again embossed in white,
that I cut up and added to the corners of my card.

I then used one of 'Mini Title Stick Set 5',
that I have left raw and layered over my doily.

For my second card, I used another piece of 'Grid Bits',
again finished in white and adhered to the bottom corner.

I then used one of the 'Tiny Frame Kathleen's',
also embossed in white,
and I then used one of the sentiments from
the 'Card Word Set 1', layered over the frame.

For my corner pieces, I used two of the 'Mini Flourish Bits',
layered with some florals.

I hope that you like what I have created for you.
I will be back soon with some scrappy goodness to share.

Until then

Lisa

ONE Amazing Day ~ by Robin Schelin

Hello everyone, welcome to November.
Can you believe it? Time goes by sooo fast! Christmas will be here before you know it!

I love Autumn colors. So warm and comforting. Fall is in full swing here in Colorado.
I love the cool crisp air and the beautiful changing colors of the leaves. Marvelous!!

"ONE Amazing 'Day"

2Crafty I used on this layout:
12x12 Stacked Filmstrips
ONE Love
   ONE Dream
  ONE Heart
  Amazing Day

As always, I primed my chipboard with White Gesso first before altering.

I backed the photo with the 12x12 Stacked Filmstrips. I cut it to fit behind the photo because it was too wide. This piece is great, you can "cut to size" to fit any width you need. I painted it with Goldstone from Prima's Shimmering Lights Watercolor set. Love to use watercolors on the chippies, just covers so nicely.

Here is the left side of the 12x12 Stacked filmstrips.

I used 2 different titles to get my title. I cut and used the "ONE" from One Love One Dream One Heart. I cut up my titles frequently to get what I'm going for on my projects. Sometimes I want more, sometimes less. Sometimes they are too big for a particular layout, or too small. Lol, sometimes they are juuust right! That's the beauty of 2Crafty. You can customize!
I painted the "ONE" with the same watercolor as I used on the stacked Filmstrips. Then I added Amazing Day underneath it. I painted this with a mix of Yellow Red, Burnt Sienna and Yellow Oxide Acrylic Paint. I wanted this to match with the colors of the layout.

And there it is, my first project for November. Hope you like it and are have already been working on your fall projects. This is such a great time of the year to be creating!
See you in a few weeks
xx
