Dua Lipa’s Macan EV ad takes the Porsche to some new places.

The star takes the electric SUV through a cinematic montage of situations to the sounds of Training Season — while explaining how she’d direct a Porsche commercial in ways that “Porsche guys” wouldn’t.

A new approach to marketing the Macan makes sense, considering recent Taycan sales numbers ahead of that SUV’s impending refresh.

Porsche is Macan friends with ChargePoint.

Porsche EV and PHEV owners can soon use the My Porsche app to pay and charge at ChargePoint stations in North America. Unfortunately, it’s not a plug and charge system, but soon the Porsche Charging Service will include “more than 100,000” stations when the collaboration goes live in Q4 2024 — after the launch of the new 2025 Porsche Taycan and Macan Electric SUV.

The Macan is expected to go into production in the latter half of 2024.

Porsche’s new Panamera has a ridiculous active suspension setup.

The automaker’s “Active Ride” hydraulic system can wildly tilt the 2024 Panamera E-Hybrid with the steering wheel and pedals while in a test mode, but also, as demonstrated by Porsche for this Out of Spec video, using a smartphone gyro (that feature probably won’t be available for use at home).

Besides the party trick, Road and Track has more details on how the four-motor pump suspension helps combat roll on the track — even leaning into corners like a motorcycle at times — and how it compares to a similar approach in the Ferrari Purosangue.

Can’t afford a Porsche? Now you can buy a share.

911 million shares of Porsche (get it!) are now being traded in Frankfurt after parent company Volkswagen carved off a 12.5 percent slice of the iconic brand for public ownership. The Porsche IPO is expected to be one of the largest in European history. Shares are currently trading at €84 adding about €75 billion to VW’s coffers. Not bad for a day’s work.
