The lace motif that I would like to share with you here have many different names.
I like to call it "Quatrefoil". The definition of
Quatrefoil is: "An ornamental design of four lobes or leaves as used in architectural tracery, resembling a flower or four-leaf clover."
I love this simple, but elegant pattern. It lends itself very nicely to a variety of designs.
Here is one: this is a stole / wrap worked in a lace-weight yarn. I have added nupps for a depth.

Hello! I'm stopping in to thank you for sharing this motif with me. I just finished a blanket where 8 of the 36 squares are "sampler" squares and I modified your chart just a little to go better with my yarn, needles, and size requirements (I needed an 8" square). I'm really pleased with how it came out, thanks again!
