In real life I am not a fan of animals in the circus - the background, ringmaster, elephant and teacup from Graphics Fairy - linking to Brag Monday.

Iron man
My entry for Three Muses Steampunk challenge is this armored adventurer. I always struggle with steampunk, I cannot get enough of looking at steampunk designs, but when I have to make one I find it extremely hard! Well, here goes - let me know what you think :)

Love is in the air
Love is in the air everywhere I look around, love is in the air every sight and every sound, and I don't know if I'm being foolish, don't know if I'm being wise. But it's something that I must believe in, and it's there when I look in your eyes . . . . my entry for the whimsical, quirky, humorous challenge at Three Muses this week. The smiling moon and airmail stamp images from Graphics Fairy - linking to Brag Monday.

Classic moustache
My "research" has revealed that this is a handlebar moustache - so called because of the particularly lengthy, curved, extremities and its resemblance to the handlebars of a bicycle ;-). My entry for Theme Thursday's moustache challenge.

Steampunkerie
I really like this definition of Steampunk - "it is a retro-futuristic neo-Victorian sensibility that is being embraced by fiction, it is ornate and vibrant, and intricate - it believes that functional items can and should be beautiful" I created a magazine cover as my entry for the Three Muses steampunkerie challenge.

Romance
Historians believe that the actual English word romance developed from a vernacular dialect within the French language meaning "verse narrative" - referring to the style of speech, writing, and artistic talents within elite classes. The word was originally an adverb of the Latin origin Romanicus, meaning "of the Roman style" The connecting notion is that European medieval vernacular tales were usually about chivalric adventure, not combining the idea of love until late into the seventeenth century. I am not sure whether these two are in love, but it sure looks like a romance is developing ;-) My entry for Take a Word romance challenge.

Half and half
I chose the perfect background, chose the perfect man . . . . . . and then I cut him in half - because I needed more than one man! ;-) No need to be alarmed . . . . it is only my entry for the vintage men challenge at Theme Thursday

Time for a hat
Theme Thursday's challenge for this week is - men with hats. I find it difficult to use men in my designs and decided to keep it simple.

News
Making headlines today is the fact that this is the first time I used an image of a man in one of my designs, I don't know what that means though ;-)
