I'm sorry to report that despite all efforts, the entire litter of rescued kittens died within hours of each other. I felt so sorry for them, and for my daughter who tried her best to help them make it.
I do realize that we don't have control over things like this but it does make us wonder 'why'. Why do people and animals have to suffer? Why do bad things happen to the good? I don't have good answers for questions such as those.
On a personal note, I would like to ask whomever would to pray. I have something I'm deeply troubled by and it has taken over my energies. I've not been able to do much else but focus on this issue. No one knows but my husband and God. Please say a prayer for the situation. I really appreciate it.
Onto something lighter...
Blogging has really expanded my world and my friend circle. Dixie Samplar is a special blog friend that has stayed connected with me all these years. Look at the lovely surprises she sent me.
A hand stitched Halloween ornament, patterns, her special hand dyed linen, and a whole variety of goodies. THANK YOU, Dixie Samplar!!! You are so dear.
Looking forward to reading your blogs this week. Thanks once again for being here. :-)

Oh, so sad to hear about the kittens. And my heart goes out to your daughter. It's so hard to watch our children observe some of the *tough lessons* in life.
And yes, just prayed for your situation, whatever it is. God knows, He cares. And I pray for His peace and comfort for you as you struggle with it.
GOD BLESS.
I walk three miles every morning and say three rosaries while I walk asking for the intentions that people have asked me to pray about. I'm praying!
