Hopefully, we can simply tap the screen to hide the UI/overlay while viewing Reels, similar to how it's done on the X (formerly Twitter) app. Itâs very inconvenient and frustrating to have to pause the video and click the small icon in the bottom corner to enable this feature in the current version.

Whose brilliant idea was it to put ads directly over the articles that FB links to? I'm trying to read an article, and it's taking 5 times longer than it should, because I either read this tiny little portion at the bottom of the screen, that's IF I even can, or I have to constantly take time to delete the ads for 2 to 3 seconds of reading time. Hey, Facebook! If you don't want a bunch of people getting pissed at you, stop putting ads directly over the articles we're trying to read!

The new update is awful. For videos, I have it set to not play sound automatically. I keep muting videos as I swipe over the video feed, but sound keeps playing. Also, when I mute the sound on a video, an ad will start playing (which is really obnoxious in the middle of a video) and the sound automatically turns back on for the ad. Facebook keeps giving me more reasons not to use the app, and no new reasons to keep using it.
