Dad's Progressing
My Amazing DAD.
Yes he's on the mend, good on ya dad you have fought so hard to get where you are today, from seeing how you were lying on the floor at home having a heart attack to where you are now sitting up in a chair wow what a strong man you are.
Even though he’s conquered so much he still have a hell of a long road to come along, his healing really well with minor set backs but with the help of some meds, some wonderful new machinery and many Nurses and Dr’s, he’ll get stronger and stronger as the weeks go by, he may not get home until the end of the year but he’s hanging in there and is fighting all of the way with the help of his family he has come so far, but I think we should remember he is still a very sick man and he needs plenty of rest and sleep, not that he‘s getting much with all that’s going on around him………….. But we all know dad and he wont let that stop him fighting.
Spoke to mum tonight she said dads moved into his new room he calls it the “PENT HOUSE” cause he’s got a window bed with a great view of Hyde Park, Centre Point Tower etc.
A message from mum to us all This is to be taken politely not as an attack on anyone.
Even though he’s moved to a general ward its still a high dependency ward and is still connected to some of his machinery. Dad gets very tired easily and feels obligated to stay awake while we are all there visiting, so if we can when we visit keep it short. Also we MUST have all mobiles still turned off.
Your more then welcome to call him but he also get very tired so please keep your calls short.
Mum’s hanging in there really well, she’s lost her voice but is feeling happy and relived that he’s starting to be on the mend, she also is now realising that life is short and that we all shouldn’t take anything for granted.
