Hi everyone and hope you all well..
Thank you for your support and to everyone who entered January's Challenge, i reckon we had a great number of entry's for our very 1st challenge plus they were all amazing. Will be back on the 8th to announce the winners and the DT's Top 3. (going to be hard to pick just 3)
Now our 2nd challenge for you is any shades of "Red"
We would like to see some where on your project a shade of Red for this challenge so it could be the main focal colour or just a splash its up to you.
We would love to see your mixed media work, project life spreads, digital layouts, scrap-booking, pocket letters, up-cycled projects etc. Even though we are a mixed media challenge we dont want to leave anyone out so you can enter with your traditional paper/card layouts so long as we can see the colour for each challenge. Feel free to enter as many times as you like with a new creation. Enter any other challenges. Please link your post for that creation (not your whole blog) and most of all have fun.
Would like to thank the Design Team for their stunning crafty creations that they have made for this challenge and hope they have given you some inspiration to join in with us as we can not wait to see what you come up with for this challenge.

Mad Hatter Heart.
The base of this is a card heart, which I covered in handmade Gesso, painted with red acrylic paint then layered up with torn paper scraps and stamping in black and copper.. A fortune telling card from a pack I found was used to stamp the Mad Hatter (Indigoblu Alice II stamp set).
A die cut frame for ART wording and a cute key affixed with a red heart brad finished the project.

A little journalling out of the box using some brushos for the background. Then added some acrylic paints with stencils. I also used some Fabercastel pens for the edge and a white uniball pen.

An altered box lid - the original box was red with white spots as you can see at the side. I covered the lid with white gesso and then used mod podge to adhere a piece of the top later of a paper napkin with hearts. I used a Balzer's Design roses stencil with imagination crafts silver sparkle medium, then used a piece of sequin waste dabbing through the holes with red Colorbox ink. Ribbon, hearts etc were then added.
Hope you join in as we love to see your crafty creations plus have digi papers up for grabs from
HERE for 3 randomly chosen winner's plus the DT's Top 3. Dont forget our other Challenge Blog
A Bit More Time To Craft as we always "Anything Goes"
Take care
