It's been a couple of weeks since I have posted but I have been quite busy. First off, I have been painting a number of commissions. This is one of them. A small collection of Mad magazines from over 40 years ago.

This is another piece that sold at Susan Powell Fine Art before I could even post it here. I really like how this one turned out. It is what I strive for in my work. A balance of warm and cool, light and dark, and tight and loose.

This is a painting of my kids' drawings. The flower was drawn by my 3 year old, Lucy, and the drawing on the top was done by my 2 year old, Lola. Tomorrow (Monday) is my wife's birthday so I gave this painting to her. She is also due next week with our third girl who will be named Lyla. I guess I will have to redo this painting next year to show drawings from all three daughters. I'm a lucky guy.
