I am a designer who loves to make things, build teams, and support others in doing so.
You will find me often making photographs, having conversations with creatives and technologists on Full Stack Whatever, and work on side projects like Shoebox, and a Darkroom Presets directory. When I am not behind a computer, I enjoy the California sun, various other creative pursuits, and advise others on their careers, teams, and businesses.
Currently, I lead design teams at Brex that focus on our spend management products, and focus on growing our design teams intentionally and sustainably.

How FedEx Influenced the React Logo
Sometimes when you’re designing, you get the license to take the time to explore many different directions and get a great result. Sometimes, you have barely any time to get the work done.
You rarely get fortunate to encounter a situation in which it sits front of you after a few minutes. The React logo was one of those lucky cases.
