The Thain's Book was an online "Encyclopedia of Middle-earth and Númenor." It contained much information about Middle-earth and Númenor. There were 1,427 entries for characters, objects, buildings, sculptures, lands, family trees, and times in Middle-earth, organized into five indexes: people, places, things, events, and creatures. There is a full alphabetical index as well. Lastly, there was a full chronology page for all events. (This site was previously located at the address tuckburough.net, and then thainsbook.net)
