The Angle of Eriador was a triangle of forested land between the Gwathló and Bruinen rivers in Eriador, with the East-West Road running through it. Its boundaries are unspecified.
In the early Third Age, the Angle was part of the kingdom of Arnor and its successor state, Rhudaur. Later, the Fallohides crossed the Misty Mountains and settled in the Angle for a time, before abandoning the area due to the evil power of Angmar.
