Saying Goodbye to 2018

2018 has been a really hard year for many including me.  Starting with surgery in January that knocked me off my feet for months longer then I ever expected.  It has taken me all year to finally start feeling stronger.  I also had some issues with depression and anxiety, I was lucky to find a great therapist and I am on the right path once again.

I have been so lucky to spend time with my sweet Grandchildren.  Tiger is 7 and Scout 3 and life is so full with these two.

I've also had some special time with both my daughters this year.  A trip to Calif in Sept to see Ashleigh was topped off by a wonderful experience.  We went to the beach and there were some whales off the coast playing and diving.  They were there for hours as I let the late Fall sun warm me and the breeze clear my mind.  I found a special blessing in this event.  A gift from God, a reminder that the simplest of things can bring great joy.
I tried to get a photo of the whales but they were too far out for my phone to capture.

During this year my blogging suffered.  I felt like I had 'things' to say but could not seem to get it together to write it down.  Also my photography skills have left me and what is a blog without good photos.  Every time I thought about just admitting I was 'done', I just couldn't.  I voiced this again just the other day and my good friend Claudia encouraged me to not give up.
SO...
I'm going to give blogging another try.  I would like to blog at least once a week so we will see how that goes.  My life has changed and so have some of my interests and I would love to share some of that with you.

If any of you are still out there and reading this I promise to give it my best this year.

As the hours count down until it's 2019, I wonder what this year will bring.  My Mother turned 88 this past October and I've been spending more and more time helping her.  I am so lucky to have her in my life and try to enjoy each and every day with her.  I am trying to make sure I have time for my daughters and my grands.  They add such joy to my life.  Lastly, I am committed to continuing to take care of myself.  Spiritually, mentally, physically!  So come along with me and let's hope the Best is Yet to Be!

You had a long year of recovery and I look forward to your posts in the New Year. Your grand kids are cute and I must say I like their names; they are original, which I like. Me being Terra LOL.

You had a lot of struggles this year and you made it though all of them with the hope of better days in the new year. That is a great accomplishment all by itself. Each day is a gift from God and it is so good to try and find happiness and joy. With that said sometimes our minds and bodies do not want to cooperate with not struggling through the day. Glad you enjoy those grand kids.
I love the two I have too. Just when you think you could not love anyone more than your own children they give you grandchildren and your heart explodes. I feel blessed to see my grand girls on a regular basis. They keep me focus on the positive too.
Wishing you a Very Happy New Year filled with less struggles and more health, happiness and pure joy.
Hugs,
Kris

So glad to read this tonight and know that you are encouraged with the coming of a new year. Depression and anxiety are hard as I too know but God is good and He has everything in His control and working for our good when we put our trust in Him. I first found your blog when you were in Paris. We took our oldest two grands there about 5 years ago I think. Glad you will return to your blog - my new years resolution also to blog consistently.
Happy New Year,
Dorothy in Arizona

Wishing you a Happy New Year dear Linda - I am so happy you are beginning to feel better - and once a week posts would be wonderful - but don't fret if a week goes past because there is always next week. Keep surrounded by your loving family. I've appreciated your comments every time and it was reassuring that you were reading posts and visiting so many of your blogging friends.
Hugs.

Hi Linda...2018 was a hard year for many people in many different ways. So glad you rallied and got through it. It will be delightful to see your posts once again. Don't stress out. Whenever the spirit moves you to post, do it, but don't put pressure on yourself. Let's strive to really live one day at a time in the best way we possibly can. Happy to see your post, dear Linda. And Happy New Year! Susan

I understand exactly what you are saying as I hardly blogged at all last year. Just like you, I'm determined that this year is going to be different! Good luck and best wishes for 2019.

I am always glad to hear from you so if once a week works for you, it works for me. A walk through the shadows makes time in the sunshine more glorious. May you have many days of sunshine in 2019.

Hi Linda, I hope the new year brings you better health and that you will continue doing what you enjoy! This has been a difficult year for so many, and the state of our country adds to everyone's worries, on top of their personal worries. Happy New Year my friend!

Linda, we are always here for you. I think the thing about blogging is to not put pressure on yourself, do it when you can and when it feels right. I love the photos of you and the grandkids, they are precious. Happy New Year!

Linda! I'm another who is here - and I think about you a lot and wonder how you're doing. I understand the anxiety and depression issues. I have terrible anxiety myself and though not clinically depressed, I go through times of feeling down and so blah. I just blog whenever the mood strikes me.

I hope that 2019 is much better for you and I'm glad to hear you're trying to take care of yourself in every which way. That's so important. I love the photo of you and your grandkids! xoxo

I post every day, but I know most can't do that. I just make it part of my morning routine. Just like eating cereal and having coffee. I'm glad you're feeling better. Depression is the pits. I've been taking meds for it since I was 26.

I am still her Linda. I came back and blog twice a month. IT is all I feel I can do now. I have missed you, but kinda sorta knew a little bit what was going on. Please start blogging again. The kids are beautiful. Andy is on his last semester of high school and will be going to Kennesaw University in the fall - can you believe it? I am glad you are feeling better. Have you seen any of the girls? I have not.
Happy New Year.

Welcome back from another of the recently missing! Sometimes life takes over and we have to re-prioritize, but you do what you can do. Blogging should be fun (IMHO)! Now that you're feeling better (hooray!) you'll see the fun coming back into your life.

I'm sorry to hear that your year wasn't so good, but also that you turned things positive.

I'm so glad you experienced the whales. We see dolphins off our beach enough to not be surprised, but every time is magical.

The grandchildren are growing and are so cute. We didn't see Andy at Christmas, but we will see him on Saturday.

Enjoy each day!

There are some play bazaar
non-profit organizations that will help people come up with some of the money that they need for a down payment on a home. There are lenders that will work with those organizations and get you into a home with a smaller down payment. This could be a viable option for SATTA KING
you.

Prince said...

Play Bazaar Also be sure you are willing to accept the reality of the home you can afford, rather than the one you Satta King want.

Try not to read in the dark or in a dimly lit Play Bazaar area. You can strain your eyes when you are trying to read without enough light. Your eyes are already working hard to do the actual reading, so the additional strain of adjusting to the lack of light can overwork them. This can also lead to fatigue and headaches. Make sure the area where you are reading is Satta King properly lit.

Try Satta King to create a body that looks bigger than your body may actually be. The way to do this is to specifically train your shoulders, upper back and torso. When you do this, your waist will look smaller, and the rest of you Play Bazaar will look bigger.
