The Master's Throne (主の座), Omo no Ma) is the 84th chapter of the Kekkaishi Manga written and illustrated by Yellow Tanabe.

Summary

At a meeting of the Kokuboro leaders, Hekian explains the relationship between a sacred land and its lord. Essentially, the land chooses the lord, and a lord may be replaced under certain conditions. Byaku intends for Princess to become the new lord of Karasumori. Aihi and Shion both have doubts about the plan. Byaku discusses the Night Troop in detail, but is not concerned about them since he has people "on their side" helping him.

Byaku visits Princess, who is restrained in bed for the sake of her sickly body. She is annoyed with him for this, and sends him away when he cannot entertain her.

Yoshimori returns home from school to find his grandfather on the phone with Masamori Sumimura, discussing the difficulty in observing Kurosusuki. Shigemori asks Masamori to increase the number of people he has deployed in Karasumori.

At Karasumori, Yoshimori wonders why Shigemori is talking to Masamori so much late, and suspect it has something to do with the recent death of Heisuke Matsudo. Madarao has trouble believing that Matsudo would die so easily. Yoshimori shares some food with Gen Shishio. Yoshimori asks Gen's opinion of Masamori, figuring he can depend on Masamori if Gen trusts him. Gen says that Masamori is like no other, and Yoshimori is reassured.

While leaving school, Gen picks up a familiar scent and encounters Kaguro in a human skin disguise. Kaguro asks Gen how it felt to attack his own sister.
