Holiday down East

Dorothy and I took a break from the farm and travelled down the St. Lawrence.

I looked for horses on the Magdalen Islands, and this is what I found.

It was a trip with good weather, friendly people & great French Canadian cuisine.

For a time we had angora goats when Anne & Ian were young.

I learned to spin the mohair, and still wear the hat in winter.

I hitched Jack in the Meadowbrook for the first time this a.m.

Maybe he will ready for the fair next year.

He is only three.

For a three year old gelding he is well on his way.

I'm sure he'll pull the sleigh this winter.

Percheron Congress in Toronto

Yesterday we attended the Percheron Congress in Toronto.

Carrie was showing her two horses.
