We didn't get home from the Heirloom Stamp & Paper Arts Festival until after 1:00 am last night, so I don't have time to post any photos but I will with the next post. It was a fantastic show and we met so many great ladies! I'm in love with Portland!

Hi From Stamp Show and Samples by Marlene Bender!

Hi Everyone,

This is a quick post as I'm using my laptop at our hotel in Portland as we set up our booth today for the Heirloom Stamp & Paper Arts Festival at the Metropolitan Expo grounds. I also have some samples to share with you by one of our guest designers this month Marlene Bender!

As you can see in these photos we hadn't finished setting up when I snapped them. I have so many fantastic samples by our design team, so later I got inventive and found ways to add a bunch more. I'm excited about this show and I have free gifts for any customers that say they read this newsletter.

I'm doing this post from our hotel and feel bad that I forgot to bring Marlene's bio.

Here is a link to Marlene's gallery on Spiltcoast. She has created all sorts of cool samples using our products like this 'carpet bag purse' she created using paper from our Earthy Paper Pad.

I also love this tote box Marlene decorated using paper from our Radiant paper pad with asstorted buttons and trim

Marlene used this sweet image of the little girl baking on her altered muffine tin here.

This little wall mirror would be an adorable gift for a little dancer! The paper is from our Pastel Paper Pad and the stamp is from our Little Dancer stamp set. I love the way Marlene added the tulle skirt!

Here on the this card, Marlene used the same stamp stamp again but she created a stage by folding our paper into curtains and cutting the paper lace from our Pastel Pad to create a valance.

Lastly, this is a cute and quick idea for dressing up a little gift for a friend with an image from our Girlfriends Image & Journal Booklet and matching papers and embellisments.

I am so lucky to be on vacation right now in Mexico while writing this post. Our friends rented a house for a month in a little fishing village north of Puerto Vallarta and invited us for a week.
I heard that it snowed at home yesterday so now Im not going to want to go home!

I also have two random winners to annouce who have each won a full set of our Creative Scraps (plus an extra sheet of their favorite). 140 people entered and tried to pick their favorite from the six themes we just introduced. I have some exciting news! Our Design Team is doing a big promotion this month with the Tattered Angels Design Team to show you great ways to use their Glimmer Mist with our products. Why did we pick Tattered Angels? Because we really like the owners Wendy & Kyle and their entire team who are all so much FUN but we also LOVE Glimmer Mist and how well it works with our products! So we teamed up both our design teams and traded products and each Monday this month of March members from both design teams will post samples they've created. This is a great combination of talented ladies! I just wish that camera's would pick up how pretty Glimmer Mist is. We sell it at retail shows and when people see the samples done - we sell out every time.

I'm also so excited to show you our new line from our Heartwarming Vintage Collection - called Creative Scraps! There are 6 themes to start and they will be printed on cardstock 8"w x 19" and scored and folded in the middle, which is why you will see them here as 2 separate sheets. They will retail for $3.75 . I think you will agree that our graphic designer Cindy van Koll did an outstanding job on these!

These are the Travel Creative Scraps. At first we wanted to do a Paris Europe theme and then decided that this would be a way more usable and I love how fun these turned out!

The last are the Seasonal Calendar Creative Scraps. Available Mar 9/09. This might be my favorite, okay - one of my favorites! I rounded up so many cool little B&W images for Cindy to build the months on this calendar sheet (see the 2nd sheet) I almost drove her insane! I think her Photoshop file had over 200 layers. I just love the way it turned out and the calendar months will work for April to Dec 2009, or Jan to Dec 2010.
