Consortium for Graduate Study in Management

The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management (CGSM) is a continually growing and evolving alliance of some of the world’s leading graduate business schools and business organizations.

CGSM provides an application pathway to its member schools as well as a network and community for Consortium members.

The CGSM mission is to enhance diversity and inclusion in global business education leadership by striving to reduce the significant underrepresentation of African Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans in these spaces.

The eligibility requirements to apply for membership through The Consortium are:

U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident of any race or ethnicity
Demonstrate a commitment to the CGSM mission
Hold a four-year bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university

Note: Due to Stanford GSB’s fully need-based financial aid policy, the GSB will not be offering the Consortium Fellowship. CGSM members do, however, have full access to the resources, opportunities, and community provided through The Consortium.

Forté Foundation

Forté Foundation’s mission is to launch women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, professional development, and a community of successful women.

Forté engages with its mission and its members through a range of programs and events supporting undergraduate, early career, MBA, and professional interests. Forté also provides a wide range of programming supporting those exploring and applying for an MBA.

Forté’s tools, resources, and programs are designed to address education and professional issues from women’s perspectives. All are welcome to participate.

Note: Due to Stanford’s need-based financial aid policy, there is no additional funding attached to the GSB Forté Fellow designation. Fellows do, however, have full access to the resources, opportunities, and community provided by Forté.

Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT)

Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) is a nonprofit that that exists to advance equality and enhance economic and social mobility.

MLT’s portfolio of programs provides support across the career spectrum, from college to the executive level. Of these, the MLT MBA Prep programs provide their fellows with personalized guidance and effective tools to successfully navigate the business school application process and optimize their MBA experience.

QuestBridge

QuestBridge is a platform that connects the nation’s brightest students from low-income backgrounds with leading institutions of higher education and further opportunities.

Stanford GSB is a member of the QuestBridge graduate school match program, supporting first generation and/or low-income students to help them access colleges and funding.

Stanford GSB participates in the QuestBridge Graduate Match Program. The QuestBridge Graduate Match provides a pathway for QuestBridge alumni to apply to participating member schools in order to continue developing a pipeline to leadership for those of all economic backgrounds.

Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA)

Reaching Out MBA’s mission is to increase the influence of the LGBTQ+ community in business by educating, inspiring, and connecting MBA students and alumni.

Note: Given Stanford’s need-based financial aid policy, there is no additional funding attached to the GSB ROMBA Fellow designation. Fellows do, however, have full access to the resources, opportunities, and community provided by ROMBA.
