昨晩 アメトークで"猫メロメロ芸人"をやってました。
岩合さん、養老先生所のまる、どの猫もかわいいですよね。
そんな家族の様な飼い猫の病気で、[不治の病]と聞いただけで、気持ちは塞ぎ込みますよね。
「猫は生まれた瞬間から腎臓の悪化が始まって行き、やがて腎不全を発症する」
そんなぁ〜、とトホホな現実なのです。


いいニュースなのです！ 昨日の新聞です。

"やがて腎不全を発症" これじゃ時限爆弾抱えてる様なものじゃん。

そんな猫に新しいタンパク質の投薬すれば....と言う研究を東京大学が行ってました。
新薬の臨床研究や、承認手続きに必要な資金提供してくれる企業も見つけ
製造ラインを作る目処もついた2020年に、コロナにより経営悪化した企業が資金提供を停止。
研究は停滞状態に........

この状況を時事通信社が記事にした所、寄付が集まり あれよあれよと一億円！！

新聞記事の最後には、"一方で研究途上で、時期尚早な部分もある"とも書いてるよ。
「腎臓病には多彩なタイプがある。まずは病気のメカニズムを研究する事が必要だ。」
結石、感染症に由来する腎臓病もあり、これらは食事の見直しや抗生物質で改善する可能性もある。
だ、そうです。
