This is a public repo for (mostly) additions and (a few) adjustments made to the raw files for dwarf fortress, currently caught up with DF 0.47.04. It's also a subset of https://github.com/jeturcotte/raw_dwarf_meat, excluding changes to animals, minerals, and minor corrections to some graphics. Here it's just words.
Having deployed this work as a steam mod by the same name for the steam edition of the game, it's become clear there's a typo or omission or two somewhere in this mess that occasionally results in a blank. Work is being done to produce a django admin to handle all this and help pretect the author and the users from human error like that. I will leap to 1.0.0 with the repairs, the admin itself, and perhaps a couple new words 'on a whim.'
There's no install script, per se. Just copy these files over to the main /raw/objects/ directory in your expendable copy of dwarf fortress and allow them to overwrite the existing versions. And poof, any new game you start will come with all the below new words.
You are welcome and encouraged to contribute to these language additions. Expect to find a few small errors herein. Just fork this repo as your own, and submit a pull request back when you have something you want added. I'll admit most things, though I'll block anything that I feel damages the work. Token errors, crude or explicit language, etc. But that's about all I can think of at the moment.
