The purpose of this work is to study the Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) in the Thalamo-Cortical Microcircuit (TCM).
This will accomplished with the creation of a completely new model using Python.
This model is based on Farokhniaee and Lowery, 2021
- Step 1 - Create a neuron model using Izhikevich model Izhikevich, 2003
- Step 2 - Create a synaptic model using Tsodyks and Markram (Tsodyks and Markram, 1997)
- Step 3 - Create the thalamo-cortical model using Farokhniaee and Lowery as reference (Farokhniaee and Lowery, 2021)
- Step 4 - Add DBS stimulation
