Release v0.12

Ignore .prove and .travis.yml files.

Prepare to release v0.10.

Bump required Perl version to 5.8.8; oldest release w/Newxz() available.

Looking at the test results on CPANTesters.org, all tests run by Perl
versions prior to 5.8.8 are being marked as "UNKNOWN" and on further
examination all show that they're due to "Newxz()" not being present.
