Image usage rationale

The bot auto removed a map from article, a map which I uploaded to showcase aprox. 100 petty princely states in Southern Gujarat. The problem is I obviously can't mention more than 90 different articles in the image description. So....will it keep doing that for every page I use it on ?

Yes, it will. It is a policy violation to use any non-free file in any article without a specific non-free use rationale for that article (WP:NFCC#10c). This specific file isn't suitable to use in any article though since a free equivalent could be created (WP:NFCC#1). — JJMC89 21:53, 29 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

No, the use of this image is fair use, you are basically asking me to do something literally impossible. It is a valid historical and geographical image,so it's use stands, and I will restore to the article. Ummunmutamnag (talk) 21:58, 29 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

SVG validation

Unfortunately, Cloudflare started throttling access to the validator on 2025-05-25. I tried running it from my personal machine and ran into the same issue. I hacked in a modification to slow the script down, but I'm not sure if it will help or when the throttling will reset. — JJMC89 05:20, 31 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
