It looks like an advocacy piece; it's underwikified; and it seems to have an excessive focus on one region of the UK, given that this is apparently of Canadian origin. - Jmabel | Talk06:06, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Jmabel; I agree with alot of your comments and apologise being new to Wikipedia and trying to write my entry with alot of enthusiasim. I have taken on board your postive criticism and have remodelled this piece - please let me know what you think? Further commnets would be aprecaited - thanks again. cheers --Joshthetree17:56, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Much improved!
That Preston site brings my browser to its knees. Any idea what technology it's using, so we can label it accordingly? Whatever it is, it must either be intended for really new high-end machines (odd for a labour site), or they must have relatively low bandwidth at their end, or it's simply "heavy" enough to be a problem to download from 5,000 miles away. - Jmabel | Talk05:17, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Jmabel, thanks for taking the time to reply - how do you think the citing looks? Is this sufficient or should i add more? The site uses 'flash player' - i'll get the specifics and let you know. cheers --Joshthetree16:10, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Flash is what I needed to know. Man, people so overuse that. It's one thing to embed a small Flash file in a web site for a particular part that needs animation, but the all-Flash sites are such a pain. - Jmabel | Talk19:07, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This article should be merged with National Day of Mourning (Canadian_observance)
They are actually the same day, known in Canada (where it started) as the National Day of Mourning, but in many other countries as the Workers' Memorial Day. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kristajt (talk • contribs) 18:41, 24 March 2010
I agree with its placement now, instead of merging. ~~ MarkDilley
