This list of synagogues in Serbia contains active, otherwise used and destroyed synagogues in Serbia. The list of Serbian synagogues is not necessarily complete, as only a negligible number of sources testify to the existence of some synagogues.

Belgrade

Belgrade is the capital city of Serbia.

Beth Israel Synagogue 1905–1908 1941 Other name: Belgrade Sephardi Synagogue, El Kal Vež Synagogue. It was destroyed by a blast in 1941 and demolished after the war.
Belgrade Synagogue 1924–1925 stand Officially the Sukkat Shalom Synagogue. Declared a cultural monument in 2013. Also known as Belgrade Ashkenazi synagogue.
El Kal Synagogue c. 17th century 1941 Other name: The old synagogue on Dorcol. It was destroyed by a blast in 1941 and demolished after the war, some parts of foundations can still be seen however.
El Kal Nuevo Synagogue before 1886 1910s Other name: New synagogue. It was demolished during the First World War.
Zemun Synagogue 1850 stand Not in use as a synagogue anymore. Not to be confused with Zemun Synagogue.

Subotica Subotica Synagogue 1901–1903 stand It is the second largest synagogue in Europe. The huge Art Nouveau-style building was threatened with collapse, making it one of the ten most endangered synagogues in the world. It was renovated between 2014 and 2018.
Hajdukovo Old Subotica Synagogue ? stand Built by Ingus family on their estate, it was used until 1944 by the local Jewish community when they were taken to Auschwitz . It is abandoned and in bad condition. [2] [3]

Senta Senta Little Synagogue 1928[4] stand It's last rabbi, from 1939 until 1944, was Moshe Teitelbaum (Satmar) who became the Satmar Rebbe in 1980. The synagogue was renovated in 2021. [5]

Vrbas Vrbas Synagogue 1914 1948 The synagogue was demolished in 1948 with the only surviving pieces being one of the outer pillars, several internal pillars which ended up being moved to the city library, and tablets with Ten Commandments which were brought to Israel and placed in a new synagogue in Karmiel . Pančevo Pančevo Synagogue 1907–1909 1954 During Tito's rule of Yugoslavia, like many other synagogues, it was not considered important to preserve religious relics, and the significant building was demolished in 1954. Today, only a few old photographs testify to its existence.
