KREK 104.9 FM is a radio station licensed to Bristow, Oklahoma. The station broadcasts a religious format and is owned by Family Worship Center Church Inc.[3]

History

The station began broadcasting in 1979, and was owned by Big Chief Broadcasting Company of Bristow.[1][4] It originally had an ERP of 3,000 watts and increased power to 5,000 watts in 1996.[1][5] It had long aired a country music format, and was branded "Stereo Country 105".[6][7][8] In 2014, the station was sold to Family Worship Center Church for $250,000, and it adopted its current religious format.[8][9]
