Explanation: this category includes a series (morphological group) of partly obsolete collective names used by classical mineralogy for ore minerals from the group of sulphides and arsenides of metals, mainly heavy (transition) ones. Until the last third of the 19th century, the group of lustre was a purely scientific concept, and later it was preserved in the specific professional language (and jargon) of geologists, mineralogists, miners, collectors and dealers of minerals, as well as related craft professions (metallurgists or jewellers in the part that concerns minerals).
