'blanc'
editsoooooooooooooooooo...... who says 'blanc' is a grape skin color? Seems like there must be a way to convey this information more useful to the layperson. I mean, if you don't already know that this is white wine, are you really going to know what 'blanc' means in vinicultural terms? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.32.117.131 (talk) 03:59, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- Blanc is French for white. It has many cognates in English such as the adjective blank (as in blank slate) or the verb blanch. The meaning is obvious.
