Medea de Novara (18 April 1905 – 1 November 2001) was a Liechtensteiner-born actress who appeared in Mexican films. She was married to the Mexican film director Miguel Contreras Torres. She was noted for her resemblance to the Empress Carlota of Mexico who she played four times on screen.[1]

From 1951 to 1979, he and her husband owned Gutenberg Castle in Balzers.[2] She reserved the right to live in the castle until her death in 2001.[3] Her brother Kindle Florian served in the Landtag of Liechtenstein.[4]
